Fault Analysis on Diesel Engine Failure to Start (3)

Before long-term storage of the diesel engine, please do the following:

1. Run the diesel engine at a low speed for five minutes.

2. Drain the old engine oil while the diesel engine is still hot and add new engine oil.

3. Remove the oil plug on the cylinder head cover and add 2mL of engine oil.

4. Press the decompression handle and do not release it. Pull the recoil start handle 2-3 times. (Do not start the diesel engine).

5. Put the decompression handle back to the compression position and slowly pull the recoil start handle until you feel pressure. (At this time, compression just starts, and the intake and exhaust valves are closed to prevent rust inside the engine body).

6. Clean the dust on the surface of the engine body and store the diesel engine in a dry place.
