The sudden stop of the Deutz generator during rotation is usually caused by the failure of the oil supply system. However, from the analysis of the failure phenomenon of the Deutz generator, the failure is unlikely to be in the oil supply system, but may be caused by the jamming of the moving parts or the seizure of the crankshaft and bearing bush.
Fault phenomenon: The Deutz generator set suddenly stops automatically during operation.
Reason for failure: Automatic shutdown when fuel is exhausted, usually showing low speed shutdown. Failsafe shutdown. Protection closed due to external fault signal input. For example, the more basic protection systems of common Deutz generators: overload, high water temperature, low oil pressure, overspeed, etc.
High water temperature shutdown: When the Deutz generator set detects that the water temperature is higher than the set value, the Deutz generator set will stop immediately. When high water temperature occurs, find out the cause of the failure before restarting the machine.
Low oil pressure shutdown: When the Deutz generator set detects that the oil pressure is lower than the set value, the Deutz generator set will stop immediately. After shutting down, check the oil level again, find out the cause of the failure, and then restart the Deutz generator set.
In addition to the above fault shutdowns, there are a series of protection shutdowns such as overvoltage, low voltage, overfrequency, low frequency, high battery voltage, and low battery voltage. Check if the alarm stops, low oil pressure, high water temperature, overspeed, etc. Check whether it is overloaded and whether the intake and exhaust pipes are unblocked. Check whether the relevant parts are damaged or loose, and check whether the fuel tank is short of oil. Check the fuel injection pump for damage. Check speed sensor, electronic speed control board, actuator, etc.
