16. Why does the fuel consumption of Deutz diesel engines increase?

(1) The piston ring is stuck and sintered in the piston groove, and the oil return hole of the oil ring is blocked by carbon deposits;

(2) The piston ring has insufficient elasticity;

(3) The piston ring, piston and cylinder liner are severely worn or there is a cylinder pull phenomenon, and the engine oil flows into the combustion chamber for combustion;

(4) The piston ring is improperly assembled, causing a gap, and the second gas ring is installed backwards; the oil ring opening is in the wrong position;

(5) Too much oil is added, too much oil splashes, and some of it enters the combustion chamber and is burned;

(6) The cork pad of the oil pan is damaged or the oil drain screw leaks, causing increased oil consumption;

(7) The bottom hole of the cylinder block and cylinder liner is out of round;

(8) The cylinder sleeve is out of round when inserted into the bottom hole of the cylinder sleeve of the engine body;

(9) Valve oil seal failure;

(10) The cylinder head valve guide hole is out of round;

(11) The matching gap between the piston and the cylinder liner is too large;

(12) The gap between the valve guide and the valve stem is large, and the oil that lubricates the valve mechanism enters the combustion chamber;

(13) The valve mechanism is lubricated and the oil flows into the combustion chamber from the gap between the valve stem and the valve guide.

 

17. Why does the crankshaft of a Deutz diesel engine break during use?

During normal use, the crankshaft will generally not break because the crankshaft has been designed to have sufficient strength and must undergo strict flaw detection and balance inspection measurements. The causes of crankshaft breakage are:

(1) There are blisters and looseness under the crankshaft skin;

(2) The physical properties, chemical properties, and metallographic structure of the crankshaft material do not meet the requirements;

(3) The engine works overloaded for a long time, and the crankshaft breaks due to fatigue transition;

(4) The main bearing nut is loose or the locking plate is not locked;

(5) The engine oil is too dirty and the lubrication conditions are poor, causing the fused tile to hold the shaft and break;

(6) When the crankshaft is ground and enlarged, the R angle of the journal is damaged and ground into a right angle, and the strength of the crank bearing is reduced and causes fracture;

(7) The main bearing cap is broken due to material or processing reasons;

(8) The power output end of the Deutz diesel engine does not use a clutch device, so the crankshaft is subject to a force perpendicular to the crankshaft centerline, and the rear end of the crankshaft breaks due to fatigue.

 

18. The outlet water temperature of Deutz diesel engine is too high

(1) The water pump fan belt is too loose and the pump water volume is reduced;

(2) The Deutz diesel engine is overloaded and works for too long;

(3) Insufficient cooling water;

(4) The water pump does not pump enough water and the circulating water volume is insufficient;

(5) The water pump impeller is damaged, the water pump impeller and the water pump shaft are loose, the water pump pulley is keyed, and the water pump bearing is seized;

(6) The cooling system is blocked and the cooling water does not flow smoothly;

(7) Thermostat failure;

(8) The water temperature sensor plug fails or is insensitive;

(9) Poor lubrication and high oil temperature;

(10) The fan rotation direction is reversed;

(11) The gaps between the radiators of the water tank are blocked by dirt, affecting ventilation;

(12) The heat dissipation area of the water tank is large and the supporting facilities are unreasonable;

(13) The modification of automobiles or agricultural machinery is unreasonable, and the windward side of the water tank is too blocked;

(14) The water tank does not have a wind guide cover;

(15) When the Deutz diesel engine is used for fixed power, the ventilation is poor and the ambient temperature is too high, or it should be equipped with open circulating water cooling but is not used.
