When use the Deutz engine, we should also pay attention to its maintenance. Let's take a look at the maintenance of the Deutz engine.
When maintaining a Deutz engine, the engine's cooling system, lubrication system, and special attention should be paid to the fuel system and intake and exhaust systems. Because the maintenance quality of these four systems will directly affect the performance and service life of the engine. Maintenance can ensure the service life of the engine, which is also closely related to the interests of users.
Deutz Engine Maintenance Program:
1. Check the oil level in the oil pan.
2. Check the height of the coolant level in the water tank.
3. Check the diesel engine coolant, oil-air joints, fixtures, and gaskets for leakage.
4. Check the air filter element, clean or replace the filter element if necessary.
5. Check the oil-water separator (drain or remove sediment if necessary).
6. Check the belt (visual inspection, if the belt is worn or small pieces come off, replace the belt).
7. Check the fan (visual inspection, check whether there are cracks, whether the fixing is firm, etc.
For an engine, engine oil is equivalent to human blood. If there is a problem with the engine oil or lubrication system, the engine will inevitably fail. If the lubrication system is well maintained, it will bring immediate benefits to the customer. Deutz series engines should use special engine oil for Deutz engines. Different manufacturers or different types of engine oils cannot be mixed, this may cause a chemical reaction. Do not substitute low-grade engine oil for engine oil. New or overhauled engines must be operational within 50 hours. At the end of the break-in period, the oil filter must be replaced at the same time. Clean oil pan, oil collector screen if necessary.
