Ⅳ, the third-level maintenance adds the following items on the basis of the second-level maintenance:
1. Disassemble and inspect the engine.
2. Clean the cooling system: Use 150g NaOH and 1L water to prepare a cleaning solution. Before cleaning, drain all the water in the cooling system, then fill in an equal amount of cleaning solution, leave it for 8 to 12 hours, and then run the diesel engine. After the water temperature reaches the operating temperature, stop the engine and immediately release the cleaning solution to prevent the scale suspended in the solution from settling. Finally, clean the cooling system with clean water.
3. Check and clean the lubricating oil channel holes, the oil injection nozzle holes of the timing gear chamber, and the oil channel holes of the idle gear and the idle gear shaft.
4. Check the tightness of the cylinder head bolts, connecting rod bolts and main bearing bolts and re-tighten them to the specified value as required.
5. Check the sealing of the valve. If it does not meet the requirements, it should be ground and corrected.
6. Check the bottom surface of the valve tappet body. If there are cracks or peeling, it should be replaced.
7. Remove carbon deposits in the combustion chamber, piston top, cylinder head and intake and exhaust ducts.
8. Check the clearance between the crankshaft main bearing and the connecting rod bearing. If the clearance does not meet the requirements or the bearing surface is severely peeled, burned or scratched, it should be replaced.
9. Check the dripping of the overflow hole of the water pump. If the dripping is serious, the water seal should be replaced.
10. Check the working condition of the injection pump and readjust it if necessary.
11. Check and adjust the valve timing and injection advance angle.
12. Disassemble and inspect the generator and starter, clean and repair them and add new lubricating oil.
13. Check the crankcase ventilation device and clean it if necessary.
14. When the engine power performance decreases significantly, the fuel and oil consumption increases, and the exhaust pipe emits black and blue smoke with oil smoke, it is necessary to replace the new piston ring.
15. In addition to the first maintenance, all subsequent three-level maintenance requires inspection of all parts of the diesel engine, and necessary adjustments and repairs are made as needed.
V. Technical maintenance for winter use When the temperature is below 5 degrees Celsius, the use of the diesel engine must be given special maintenance.
1. Winter fuel and engine oil must be used, and attention should be paid to the water content in the fuel to avoid clogging the oil circuit.
2. It is best to add antifreeze to the cooling system, otherwise the cooling water should be drained when the water temperature drops to 40℃-50℃ after parking.
3. In cold seasons and regions, it is best not to park the vehicle in the open air, otherwise the cooling water must be heated to preheat the engine body when starting, and the engine oil must be heated. If these tasks are done well, the diesel engine can generally start at -20℃. When the engine is not working for a long time, it should be effectively sealed to avoid rust damage.
