1. Overlay welding method:
If several gears or individual gears are worn or the wear on both sides of the tooth ends exceeds the limit, one or more layers of metal can be overlaid on the entire or partial surface of the gear according to the damage of the gear. Gear welding repair can be divided into gas welding and electric welding.
2. Reversing method:
For single-sided wear of gears, if the structure allows, the gear bar can be reversed and flipped 180°, and the unworn side can be used, but it is best to flip it in pairs, or replace the matching gear with a new one to ensure normal meshing of the gear.
3. Tooth inserting method:
For gears with low load and low speed, after individual gears are knocked off, the root of the bad tooth is planed out with a trapezoidal groove on the planer during repair, and a new tooth blank with the same groove shape is pressed in with a certain tightness, welded firmly and processed and shaped.
