(1) Waterless starting: After the diesel generator is ignited, adding cooling water can easily cause the engine parts to heat up too quickly, accelerating wear; adding cold water to a hot engine can also easily cause the engine to explode.
(2) Long-term motor starting: If the motor is started for too long at a time, the battery will discharge for a long time and with a large current, which can easily cause the plate to bend; excessive discharge can easily cause the plate to sulfide, making the battery scrapped.
(3) Increasing voltage starting: In order to increase the motor speed, two batteries are blindly connected in series to supply power to the motor. Not only can it easily cause the motor to overspeed, generate centrifugal force, and accelerate the damage of the bearing, rotor and stator coil, but also because the technical conditions of the two batteries are different, the good battery will charge the bad battery, which can easily damage the good battery.
(4) Increasing capacity starting: When two batteries are connected in parallel to supply power to the motor, the current is doubled, generating greater heat, which can easily cause the starting switch, motor contacts, starting wires, rotor, stator coil to burn out and cause fire.
(5) Towing start: Forced operation of a cold engine can easily increase the wear of the transmission mechanism and running mechanism and cause mechanical accidents.
(6) Slope start: Because the diesel engine has not been preheated, the viscosity of the lubricating oil is high and the lubrication is poor, which can easily increase the wear and tear of the locomotive and the bearings, and is more likely to cause brake failure and cause a car accident.
(7) Suction start: When suctioning the engine, the air filter must be removed to allow external dust to enter the cylinder directly. It is easy to produce knocking, causing damage to the engine body; it is easy to increase carbon deposits, accelerate the wear of the cylinder, piston, and piston ring, and cause power reduction.
(8) Starting by injecting gasoline into the intake pipe: This practice is very dangerous. After the diesel engine catches fire, it is easy to produce knocking, which will increase the impact load of the moving parts and damage the parts; it is also easy to cause runaway, carbon deposits, and instantaneous overheating of the diesel engine.
(9) Starting with open flame: Using open flame to preheat the engine in winter can easily cause fires; burn out the circuit; cause the oil pan to crack; the local temperature is high, which can easily cause the engine oil to deteriorate.
(10) Starting with the accelerator at the maximum position can easily cause too much fuel to be sprayed into the cylinder, making the mixture too rich and making it more difficult to start. After starting, the speed will increase sharply, which can easily cause damage and wear to the engine parts.
